A food snob documentary film, paired with wine.

A fine-dining subculture has emerged: haute-food bloggers who want to dethrone traditional food critics, and flame the Michelin star system. Enter the Swedish French documentary Foodies: The Culinary Jetset, which follows five influential food bloggers reach a goal few aspire: to eat at all the Michelin star restaurants. Anywhere on the globe. “I can’t imagine how many carbon emissions I have been responsible for for this last few years,” Perm, theskinnybib.com. “Some people fly everywhere for the beaches…I fly for the food,” Aiste, luxeat.com

Join us for a special food-focused, interactive screening event that features Foodies:The Culinary Jetset. Stand-up comic Carolyn Bennett will open the evening with a set that throws around some food fun; Chef Matthew Foote will open your taste buds and then answer the question: What in the world are they eating? And Sommelier Lesle Gibson will pair your film experience with samples of fantastic wine.
