Flint Lockwood is a scientific genius. He has his own laboratory. He spends his free time working on inventions. He even parades around in a lab coat. Only problem, Flint Lockwood’s inventions are not seen as very useful or necessary. Until one day, as his town’s sardine industry dries up, Flint Lockwood invents a food machine that produces on command.
Based off a children’s book of the same title, CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS appeals to audiences young and old. On the one hand, heart-warming and adorable, and on the other hand, a film full of pop culture references—Skittles, Wizard of Oz, Mystery Science Theatre 3000, War of the Worlds, Monty Python, and yes Mr T.
