DETAILS
Words have power, and teenager Sara learns the power of her own in 1986’s cult-classic adventure musical dark fantasy film, Labyrinth. Frustrated with her family, her responsibilities, and general teenage angst, Sara wishes for her baby brother Toby to be stolen away by goblins and is shocked when she discovers the goblins have obeyed her command. Now, she must journey through the lands of the Goblin King Jareth and rescue Toby before it is too late. Can Sara overcome the obstacles placed before her by sinister Jareth, and learn to recognize her own power? The last feature film directed by Jim Henson before his death, with a cast peopled mostly from the inhabitants of Henson’s Creature Shop, and the iconic performance of David Bowie as the Goblin King, Labyrinth is a rich, fantastic experience you won’t want to miss on the big screen. -Crystal Madore
