Repo Man

Repo Man

1984 (Alex Cox) R, 92 minutes

Harry Dean Stanton, Emilio Estevez, Tracey Walter

Dracula and his friends try to bring out the monster in his half human, half vampire
grandson in order to keep Mavis from leaving the hotel.

Young punk Otto becomes a repo man after helping to steal a car, and stumbles into a world of wackiness as a result.

With an incredible cast of character actors, more quotable lines than you can throw a plate of shrimp at, and set in a beautifully bleak and nuanced 1984 Los Angeles, Repo Man is a classic. In the red-hot trunk of a '64 Chevy Malibu is the radioactive prize everyone is after, and while they might get distracted by sex, drugs, rock, roll — and repossessing cars along the way — the multifarious misfits who want that Malibu will stop at nothing to get it. Thematic pre-show from 9:15PM; screening at 9:45PM. Licensed event.
