Documentary screening and discussion. Tickets available online here:
Back Lane Studios, in partnership with the Revue Cinema, continues its Extraordinary Women series with a screening and discussion about essayist, critic, novelist and publisher Virginia Woolf. Roncesvalles resident Janice Kulyk Keefer, an award-winning novelist, poet and literary critic, will introduce and discuss the film, and provide additional information about Woolf’s life, that of her artist sister Vanessa Bell and their circle of Bloomsbury friends. The film, The War Within: A Portrait of Virginia Woolf, by Flare Productions, has been well received. The American Film Institute describes it as "An extraordinarily moving portrait of one of the giants of 20th century literature." Proceeds from the screening go to Back Lane Studios’ local film-making program for students.
Special event pricing: $10 for Bronze Members, Students and Seniors; $13 for General Admission.
