Concessions Staff Overview

Reporting to the Assistant Manager on duty, the Concessions Staff provide excellent customer service while also maintaining the cleanliness of the theatre.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves a variety of concessions items quickly and efficiently

• Serves alcoholic beverages according to Smart Serve standards

• Accurately processes cash, debit and credit transactions

• Maintains an organized and presentable concession stand and handles all equipment safely and properly

• Thoroughly and frequently cleans the concessions, lobby, theatre and bathroom areas

• Greets and directs customers through the theatre

• Maintains knowledge of Revue programming and events

• Other tasks as assigned by management

 

Qualifications

• Weeknight and weekend availability are required

• Smart Serve certified

• Food service and cash handling experience are required

• Previous movie theatre experience is an asset

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment is an asset

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Self-motivated, with strong initiative

• Professional, positive and courteous attitude

• Enthusiasm for film and events

• Able to multitask and prioritize tasks

• Team oriented

Schedule

This is a part-time, hourly position, requiring a minimum of two shifts per week, with the opportunity to work extra shifts as well. The schedule includes shifts on evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be available to start immediately.

Compensation

$18 per hour, plus tips.
