DETAILS

It’s a Headache from Hell.

One morning, a young man wakes to find that a small, disgusting creature has attached itself to the base of his brain stem. The creature gives him a euphoric state of happiness but demands human victims in return.

Director Frank Henenlotter (BASKET CASE, FRANKENHOOKER) delivers a Faustian tale like no other. A low-rent, public-access anti-drug flick crafted while on a bad trip, lurid and hilarious, set in the grimiest of 1980s punk NYC. A hallucinogenic horror comedy in bad taste but of good faith, BRAIN DAMAGE transforms addiction into a wise-cracking sentient dildo intent on murder, mayhem, and a damn good time! – Steven Landry
