The black and white, bittersweet comedy follows two 40-year-old former school friends who trudge out on the desolate Bodmin Moor to Brown Willy, the highest point in Cornwall, as part of a misguided stag do.
A micro budget comedy drama about friendship against the odds, the film features the pair’s desperate battle with the barren terrain, unforgiving environment and each other. Brown Willy has been described by the New Statesman as “Cornwall’s answer to Withnail & I”.
