Details

Boy meets girl, girl despises boy, boy doesn’t care that much for her either—that’s nothing new. But familiar doesn’t mean not d compelling, and The Cutting Edge finds that sweet spot. It was charming thirty years ago, and it maintains that charm with dazzling figure-skating sequences and a high-energy 90s dance soundtrack. Moira Kelly and D.B. Sweeney have easy chemistry that recalls the screwball romcom of a bygone Hollywood era. The style remains timeless until this day, and is a perfect title to stay cozy in a frigid and romantic February. See ya then! (VANYA GARRAWAY)
