Revue Weekly Newsletter – 2018, June 1

Hello from your friendly neighbourhood cinema! If you missed out on Isle of Dogs or You Were Never Really Here, they’ll be on-screen again this week.

Next Thursday we host the launch of the We Really Like Her podcast, focusing on women in film, with a screening of Mermaids, starring Cher, Winona Ryder and Christina Ricci. We Really Like Her hosts Emily Gagne and Danita Steinberg will introduce the screening, which is sponsored by Hollywood Suite.

Our June lineup of second-run features will be announced on our website over the weekend, but tickets to our Special Events, featuring live music, interactive screenings, more anime, classic comedy from the Marx Brothers, and rarely-screened 35mm prints are already available on Eventbrite!

Also, The Revue Film Society, which operates The Revue Cinema, is currently recruiting one new Director for a one-year term to its Board of Directors. Learn more about the opportunity!

For a full listing of this week’s films, check our schedule. See you at the movies!
