If you’ve ever wanted to see a talking dog, Disney has granted your wish. Chloe (Barrymore) is the typical Beverly Hills chihuahua. Her life is devoted to shopping, trips to the spa and lazy days poolside with her friends. But fate, in the guise of a negligent dog-sitter, drops Chloe way outside her comfort zone and onto the mean streets of Mexico. Chloe’s eventual rescue depends on a series of capers involving a posse of pooches, voiced by a who’s who of top Latino actors, including Edward James Olmos, Salma Hayek, Plácido Domingo, Cheech Marin and Luis Guzman.
