Just one year ago, the Revue faced one of the most difficult moments in its history as we fought to keep the lights on amid an eviction threat. Our community’s extraordinary support helped us secure a new five-year lease and a new lease on life. Since then, the Revue has not only survived – it has thrived. The arrival of our 70mm projector marks the first of several exciting developments ahead. Now, with the continued support of our valued community, our goal is to ensure the Revue Cinema has a permanent home.
To help make that vision a reality, we’re launching the 70 for 70 Campaign – a community fundraising effort to raise $70,000 in celebration of our new 70mm projector. Thanks to a generous matching donor, every dollar contributed will be doubled, up to $35,000. Your gift will help ensure the Revue’s long-term stability and keep our screens lit for generations to come.
Charitable tax receipts will be issued for donations over $25.00.

Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?
Yes, as a registered charity, we now issue tax receipts for all donations exceeding $25. Tax receipts are sent out annually prior to the CRA’s filing deadline. Our charitable registration number is 849963368RR0001
What does my donation help support?
Your donation will help support everything from our internal operations, equipment and platform maintenance, and building repair! As a charity, we rely on donations so we can offer high quality, low cost options for the Revue community.
Can I donate by cheque?
Yes! If you would like to donate by cheque, please make it out to the Revue Film Society.
If you are mailing a cheque, you can post it to 400 Roncesvalles Ave, Toronto, ON M6R 2M9.
If you would like to drop the cheque off in person, you can do so during our box office hours. The box office opens 30 minutes before a screening, or get in touch with us at [info] @revuecinema.ca to arrange another drop-off time!
Can I donate using another method?

Can I make a donation in someone else's name?
Certainly! We can also help provide proof of your donation, if you would like to share it with them.
Can I make an anonymous donation?
If you intend to use our online donation system, unfortunately it will not allow for processing without a name. However, if you indicate you would like to remain anonymous, your identity will only be seen by the staff processing the donation.
The Revue Film Society does not share donor data with any third-parties.
