Heat Wave: ROMAN HOLIDAY (1958) – Presented by Zach Wortzman

The films are hot, but the Revue’s AC will be cranked for the films in this summer’s Heat Wave lineup.

Heat Wave at the Revue Cinema, a lineup of the greatest summer movies ever made, kicks off on the first night of summer with the summer classic ROMAN HOLIDAY with an introduction by Don’t Be So Political curator, Zach Wortzman!

William Wyler directs, Dalton Trumbo writes, and Edith Head costumes Audrey Hepburn as  Princess Ann in her first leading role on the big big screen playing opposite Gregory Peck as a  roguish newsman. A golden cage fairy tale so vibrant you’ll forget its in black and white.  

Roman Holiday charmed its way to three Academy Awards including Best Actress for Hepburn, Best  Story for Trumbo, and Best Costumes for Head. It endures as one of the most delightful romantic  comedies ever produced, a perfect summer film.  (ZACH WORTZMAN)
