DETAILS

Get ready to laugh your tuchus off as We Really Like Her! co-hosts Emily and Danita celebrate Joan Rivers’ 90th birthday (and Pride Month!) with a screening of Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work (2010).

Directed by Annie Sundberg and Ricki Stern, the critically-acclaimed documentary follows Rivers for 14 months, giving us unfiltered access to the life and work of one of the most influential comedians of all time. As irreverent as ever, Rivers pulls back the curtain on the highs and lows of more than 50 years in show business, while fearlessly sharing her personal life like never before.

Both hilarious and honest, Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work immortalizes Rivers as the trailblazing, hardworking, force of nature that she really was. And trust us, the trip into her filing cabinet of jokes is worth the price of admission alone. (DANITA STEINBERG & EMILY GAGNE)
