DETAILS

This September, We Really Like Her! co-hosts Emily and Danita bid farewell to Sad Girl Summer with the mid-2000s coming-of-age hit, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

Based on the best-selling novels by Ann Brashares, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants follows four best friends as they spend their first summer apart: Bridget (Blake Lively) is at soccer camp, Lena (Alexis Bledel) is in Greece, Carmen (America Ferrera) is visiting her father, and Tibby (Amber Tamblyn) is stuck in their hometown. With only a pair of magical jeans to keep them connected, they set out on their individual paths to self-discovery.

Co-written by Elizabeth Chandler (A Little Princess, What a Girl Wants) and Delia Ephron (yes, Nora’s sister), The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is an endearing story of friendship, finding yourself, and the power of thrifting. – DANITA STEINBERG & EMILY GAGNE
