ABOUT THE CURATOR

Crystal-Rose Madore is a local writer and good omen. Active on twitter as @jodiesjumpsuit, she’s been described as, “that mysterious neighbour who owns good books and tells great stories.” Ms. Madore started Throwback Cinema in 2017 with one guiding principle: if she could re-create her childhood experience of going to the movies for the kids of today, what movies should they see? The result has been wildly successful with families, young adults, and the young-at-heart.
