Series: Stompbox

Stompbox is a music-on-film screening, event and performance series active since 2016, blending music-focused films with live bands, live scores, and Q&As with special guests whenever possible. Curated by David Bertrand, who also makes synth music as The Great Octopus and drums for Black Belt Cinema house band Dragon Sounds – both regulars on the Revue Cinema stage. David also moonlights as curator of The Saturday Morning All-You-Can-Eat-Cereal Cartoon Party, bringing retro cartoons and sugar cereal overload to the Revue and other awesome indie theatres across the country.
